Just before Halloween in 2011 there was a surprise snow storm that left 13" of snow and a power outage behind it. Halloween was cancelled that year. That was the trick. The beauty of snow covered autumn leaves was the treat, hence the title "Trick Or Treat".
About Lorraine Centrella
I have not had formal art training or art education; but I have always been intrigued with color, design, texture, and composition in the natural world. Years ago, I tried my hand at painting with acrylics. I like the diversity - from wet-on-wet to the creamy, buttery, consistency. The quick drying quality of acrylic paint appeals to me. Since acrylics have a wide range of mediums, one of my personal goals is to grow, learn, and experiment as an artist. I enjoy the outdoors, so natural themed painting appeals to me.
