Second in a series of new astronomy based paintings, this is called "Star Burst". It is done with acrylic paint and pouring medium. This shows the effects of a supernova blast wave.
About Lorraine Centrella
I have not had formal art training or art education; but I have always been intrigued with color, design, texture, and composition in the natural world. Years ago, I tried my hand at painting with acrylics. I like the diversity - from wet-on-wet to the creamy, buttery, consistency. The quick drying quality of acrylic paint appeals to me. Since acrylics have a wide range of mediums, one of my personal goals is to grow, learn, and experiment as an artist. I enjoy the outdoors, so natural themed painting appeals to me.
