About Lorraine Centrella
I have not had formal art training or art education; but I have always been intrigued with color, design, texture, and composition in the natural world. Years ago, I tried my hand at painting with acrylics. I like the diversity - from wet-on-wet to the creamy, buttery, consistency. The quick drying quality of acrylic paint appeals to me. Since acrylics have a wide range of mediums, one of my personal goals is to grow, learn, and experiment as an artist. I enjoy the outdoors, so natural themed painting appeals to me. Painting is my creative outlet. It can be fun, relaxing, exhilarating, frustrating, and mind absorbing. It can be my transport to another place and time.
